PUPPY HEALTH GUARANTEE

Everyone receives a copy of this contract at the time of purchase.

Deposits or payments can be made by personal checks but they have to be in my hand 18 days before shipping. We only accept postal money orders from the post office. Sorry we do not take personal money order or cashiers checks. It has been known that anyone can print these from their computers. A non-refundable $200 deposit is required to hold a puppy until old enough and/or large enough to be picked up or shipped. This is deducted off the price of the puppy. Puppy is not considered sold until deposit is received!! I suggest sending your deposit by Priority or Express Mail or better yet and your convenience we have Pay Pal...It's safe and secure! Put a deposit on or pay for your puppy in full today!!!  Pay Pal accepts Visa, Master Card, Electronic Check and Debit Card!!! Please E-mail us on which puppy your interested in to be sure that the pup is indeed available before you pay pal payment!!!

Price for your puppy includes vaccinations, & de-worming done by us, & healthy puppy examination by our veterinarian. We recommend, but do not require Neutering your male puppy. This also helps if done before 16 weeks of keeping your male dog from maturing and having the need to lift his leg to pee or worse yet become intimate with your friends leg. However we do leave this choice up to you.

All puppies will have their first set of puppy shots which are, (2-5 way shots and 2-parvo shots) wormed 4 times with 2 different kinds of deworming before it comes to you. Pups will be thoroughly vet checked before they leave my home.

Deposit is non-refundable, unless puppy fails vet check!! If you are picking up your puppy you can pay remainder at that time. 

To avoid delay I will accept a Money Order from your local post office, and offer to you the convenience of using Pay Pal directly from my web site, it is safe and secure, to pay your deposit or balance with debit or credit cards.

No puppy leaves my house any younger than 8 weeks, I know you're anxious but the only concern I have is the health of the puppy. I can't bend this rule, sorry!

All puppies purchased must be taken to the Buyer's veterinarian within the first three (3) days after receiving the dog, proof must be provided within 10 days by mail or fax. If this is not done, the health guarantee becomes invalid and Buyer assumes all responsibility for the health of the puppy. (It should be noted that diarrhea is common among puppies that have been moved to a new environment. This is normal and is not covered under the health guarantee. This will normally subside as the puppy gets used to its new home and surroundings.) It is necessary for the Buyer to complete the schedule of inoculations on-time in order to protect the puppy's health, and for the guarantee to remain valid. We recommend that you consult your veterinarian early about the prevention of heartworms in your puppy. It is expected that the Buyer will have yearly exams for the puppy including heartworm detection, fecal examinations, and all vaccinations required by your veterinarian. If within the first year of the puppy's life, it is found to have a life-threatening congenital defect, send a detailed letter of explanation from your licensed veterinarian as to the nature of the defect and how it was found.. Breeder must be notified at once at the onset of the problem. Breeder's veterinarian will interpret the report and if he concurs, then a replacement puppy will be given. A puppy with a defect must be returned with specified problem or euthanized and returned with the prior permission of the breeder to qualify for a replacement puppy. Registration of the puppy must also be returned. Any physical problem which is or could be the result of injury, over feeding, underfeeding and does not have up to date records of vaccinations are not covered under this guarantee. If any puppy dies for any unknown reason, it must be frozen and sent back to us. Then it will be examined by Iowa Sate University before a replacement can be made. No refund, in part or in full, will be given. A returned puppy must be returned to the breeder in good condition, other than the specified problem, at the buyer's expense. The owner will then qualify for a replacement puppy. Buyer is responsible for transportation costs to and from the breeder.

There are certain disorders that may be caused by environmental factors, i.e allergies, thyroid dysfunction, mange and other autoimmune disorders that are not covered by this guarantee. Minor defects that are of little consequence for the puppy's health are not covered. Such as: a minor under bite, over bite, or a hernia.

All veterinarian charges, incurred by the purchaser, are the sole responsibility of the purchaser and will under no circumstances be paid by the breeder, including all spay or neuter charges. The breeder guarantees a healthy companion pet, but does not guarantee adult size, color, and temperament. Nor does breeder guarantee for breeding.

Please be advised that until your puppy has had its full set of inoculations, it is susceptible to certain illnesses, and therefore should be kept out of areas where other dogs (and other animals) have been. This would include parks, pet stores, and even neighbors' yards. While at the vet, keep your puppy on your lap or in a kennel, away from other animals. When your veterinarian tells you the shots are complete and your puppy is immune, you can then begin to "show off" your new family member.

This contract is null and void if the terms and conditions are not fulfilled. Federal USDA and the State of Iowa Rules & Regulations govern all warranties and guarantees. All sales are considered initiated, transacted and finalized in Tama County, Iowa. All puppies will be examined by a licensed Veterinarian prior to delivery. All expenses incurred medical or otherwise, are the responsibility of the buyer. Shipping expenses are never refunded. Buyers are subject to sales tax.
